Once upon a time, there was a caterpillar who was very proud of his voice. He could make it sound very loud and booming, and he loved to use it to scare other animals.
One day, the caterpillar was walking through the forest when he came across a hare’s cave. The cave was empty, so the caterpillar decided to go inside and make his voice echo. He boomed and roared and made all sorts of loud noises, and he had a lot of fun.
When the hare came home, he heard the caterpillar’s voice and was very scared. He thought that a big, angry animal was in his cave, so he ran away to get help.
The hare met a jackal and told him about the terrible creature in his cave. The jackal was not afraid, so he agreed to go with the hare to investigate.
When the jackal and the hare arrived at the cave, they called out to the creature. The caterpillar boomed back, “It is I! Yes, I who crushes rhinos to the earth and tramples elephants!”
The jackal was impressed by the caterpillar’s voice, but he knew that he was just a small creature. He told the caterpillar that he should leave the hare’s cave, but the caterpillar refused.
The jackal and the hare decided to call for help from other animals. Soon, a crowd of animals had gathered around the cave, all of them curious to see what was making such a loud noise.
The caterpillar continued to boom and roar, and the animals were all very scared. They didn’t know what to do.
Finally, a frog stepped forward. “I will deal with this creature,” he said.
The frog hopped up to the cave and called out to the caterpillar. “I challenge you to a fight!” he said.
The caterpillar was not afraid. He boomed back, “I accept your challenge!”
The frog and the caterpillar fought for a long time, but in the end, the frog was victorious. The caterpillar was defeated and had to leave the hare’s cave.
The animals were all very happy that the caterpillar was gone. They thanked the frog for his help, and they all lived happily ever after.
